How do I comply with the Flemish Lodging Decree?
Check the requirements for your type of accommodation, including basic standards, operating requirements and fire safety rules. The exact obligations depend on your property and situation. Keep the required documents up to date and track their expiry dates; consult Toerisme Vlaanderen, your municipality or the fire service for the current rules that apply to you.
Which certificates should I keep for a holiday home?
That depends on your property and its installations. These may include a fire safety certificate and, where applicable, inspection certificates or reports for electricity, gas and heating. Keep any other documents required for your accommodation and check their validity and renewal dates. Validum helps you organize your documents and deadlines in one place.
How does the Validum trial period work?
The trial period for a new property is 14 days by default. During this time, you can manage your property and documents in Validum. After the trial, a subscription is required to continue editing the property; your data remains available during the read-only period that follows. The configured duration may vary.
